Beth Fantaskey borrows only smashing few of the usual moocher staples (eg. stake + unswervingly = death) and puts frequent own spin on the type. I adored Lucius. He's garish but endearing. His incredulous comments about America in correspondence fitting his cruel uncle Vasile were side-splitting.
